Perma-Liner InnerSeal™ System
Perma-Liner InnerSeal™ System
Perma-Liner™ has developed an easy and non-intrusive way to correct Lateral Pipeline and Main Line Sewer Pipeline connection problems.
The InnerSeal™ Lateral Connection is another quality product released by Perma-Liner™ for the rehabilitation of the lateral to mainline connection point. The unique materials are designed to be placed from within the main sewer pipeline and launched into the lateral creating a water tight seal at the main / lateral connection point. The lateral is also lined at the same time, correcting any damaged pipe sections and preventing roots from growing into the pipeline
The InnerSeal™ resin technology is 100% solid epoxy. This resin formulation is an ambient cure and can be modified for hot water or steam curing. The ambient cure formulation has excellent bonding properties in all pipe materials and does not contain styrene. Our Epoxy resin does not shrink and will seal off water infiltration during the application.
The InnerSeal™ Connection System can rehabilitate from 6” to 24” sewer mains with 3” to 8” lateral tye-ins. This system is user friendly and allows the installer to provide a structural liner connection with 22’s, 45’s and 90 degree connections
How the InnerSeal™ System Works
Step 1: The InnerSeal™ Lateral Lining Train AssemblyResin Impregnated liner being attached to InnerSeal train assembly. A pre- manufactured, needle punched felt liner material made to match the geometry of the service connection is impregnated with a two-part 100% solids epoxy resin. The InnerSeal liner material is then positioned inside the carrier train exposing the InnerSeal connection liner. |
Step 2: The InnerSeal™ Train is Positioned at the Service Connection Train is attached to an articulating robot which will line up the main bladder with the connection. A winch pulls the train through the mainline to the service connection to be repaired. An articulating robot precisely aligns the main bladder opening so that it is directly facing the service connection. |
Step 3: The Sealing ProcessInner bladder inflates out of the main bladder, inverting the InnerSeal liner into the service connection. Air pressure pushes the Inner Seal into the service connection. The Inner Sel liner is inverted from the mainline into the service connection. The specially formulated resin is allowed to cure without adding heat. |
Step 4: Completion of the InstallationCompleted watertight seal at the service connection showing the “T” fitting and cured liner The inversion bladder is deflated and the positioning tool removed from the main line. Repair of the defective connection is complete. |
InnerSeal™ Technology
Perma-Liner Industries, Inc. introduces the new InnerSeal TM Connection System. This system was designed specifically for the connection of service laterals to the main sewer line. This product utilizes the same CIPP technology as Lateral Lining and Point Repairs.
Designed for multiple connection repairs per workday, this system works effectively with all Tee & Wye connections from 6” x 4” to 36” x 12” connections. Lateral lengths available from 18 inches to 50+ feet.
All materials have been third party tested to meet all the requirements of ASTM F-1216. For use in sanitary systems.
The InnerSeal™ installation is controlled from the operator’s station inside the enclosed “turn- key” trailer system. The operator can control the direction of the repair train and position the train into the lateral connection. The operator’s station also allows full control of the inversion pressure in order to secure the liner properly against the host pipelines.
